Meet Dr. Bethany Hernandez Parks
Dr. Hernandez Parks has earned her B.A. in Family and Consumer Sciences along with her M.A. in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from California State University, Long Beach.
She is a graduate of the University of Southern California, earning her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Educational Psychology. She focused her dissertation research on the field of early education and has a special interest in supporting educators making meaningful connections with children and families through culturally responsive practices.

Dr. Hernandez Parks has been recognized by Early Childhood Exchange Magazine and was named as an Exchange Leader in 2020. She has also authored an article within this national publication and supported the leadership initiative by evaluating other candidates for this prestigious title. She holds her Child Development Program Director permit in the state of California.
